About

Where Our Story Begins

THE LiTTLE POETS began with friendship.

We are three women, mothers and longtime friends, who shared a quiet conviction that childhood deserves beauty, imagination, and care. What started as conversations between us slowly grew into something more tangible: a brand shaped by memory, culture, and the desire to create garments that feel meaningful.

Our lives have always been closely connected to creativity. Through photography, textile development, architecture, and design, we each developed our own relationship with form, fabric, and storytelling. When those worlds met, THE LiTTLE POETS naturally emerged.

Portugal, where the brand was born, has always been our greatest source of inspiration. In its villages, traditions are preserved in subtle ways: through embroidery passed from one generation to the next, through garments worn for celebration, through techniques perfected by patient hands. These elements have long fascinated us.

Rather than reproducing these traditions exactly as they once were, we reinterpret their spirit. Our collections explore how heritage can live within a child’s everyday wardrobe, translating cultural references into pieces that feel effortless, expressive, and modern.

The process behind each garment is deeply collaborative. We work closely with skilled ateliers and manufacturers across Portugal, whose knowledge and dedication shape every stage of production. Their craftsmanship allows our ideas to become something tangible, garments made with attention, patience, and care.

Storytelling is central to how we design. Each collection begins with an idea, sometimes a place, sometimes a feeling, sometimes a fragment of memory. From there, fabrics, silhouettes, and details slowly take shape, building a small world around that inspiration.

THE LiTTLE POETS exists to celebrate the wonder of childhood and the beauty of things made thoughtfully. We believe that clothing can carry emotion, that garments can become part of a child’s memories, and that the pieces we create today may one day hold stories of their own.

We are grateful to share this journey with you.
